Håp i Havet er en konferanse og karrieredag for de med interesse for fiskeri- og havbruksnæringen. Det er en tverrfaglig møteplass hvor studenter, næringsliv, forskningsmiljø og politisk ledelse innen sjømatsnæringen møtes.

Tema for årets Håp i Havet er "fra tradisjon til innovasjon". Vi vil sette fokus på næringens uendelige muligheter, og på tiltakene som må gjøres når næringen nå går en svært spennende fremtid i møte.

Håp i Havet vil i år arrangeres over to dager. Onsdagen vil være et halvdagarrangement med høyt rekrutteringsfokus og hovedsakelig er forbeholdt studenter. Dagen vil bestå av frokostseminar, et par korte bedriftspresentasjoner og "speed-dating" for et begrenset antall studenter. Denne dagen vil finne sted på NFH-bygget onsdag 17. februar. Torsdag vil være den tradisjonelle konferansedagen med spennende foredrag, sjømatlunsj, dagsaktuell debatt og bedrifter på stand. Dette vil foregå på Teorifagsbygg 1, mens den berømte sjømatlunsjen vil være på NFH. Dagen avsluttes med en forrykkende bankett på Clarion Hotel The Edge med god mat, underholdning og topp stemning.
