Vi er en 3 avdelings barnehage som holder til i to hus på to forskjellige steder i sentrum. Marken barnehage, Kong Oscarsgate 55 og Marken barnehage, avd. Birkebeineren i Birkebeinergaten 4. Barnehagen eies og drives av Bergen kommune. Marken barnehage, Kong Oscars Gate har to avdelinger. En avdeling med 9 barn fra 0-4 år og 1 avd. med 18 barn fra 3-6 år. Marken barnehage, avd. Birkebeineren er en basebarnehage med 25 barn i alderen 0-6 år. Tilsammen er vi ca. 52 barn. Begge barnehagene ligger midt i sentrum og benytter byen flittig både mht. natur og kultur.
